Strabismus surgery

The main objectives of the treatment are to align the eyes so that the look is more aesthetic, restore lost visual abilities and avoid major problems such as amblyopia (or lazy eye) in the non-dominant eye.

              A quick detection of ocular affections during childhood is the key to solve the problem or prevent it from increasing and accentuating over time.

The techniques to achieve this are very varied: from visual reeducation, to surgery, through other optical options (glasses) or medications with botulinum toxin). The use of one or the other depends on the type of strabismus you have and what you intend to correct. In many cases, they alternate with each other to obtain a more efficient recovery.
